My college review

JIS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING was established in 2000 in Nadia, Kolkata. The college has four departments that offer courses likes, BBA, BCA, B.TECH, M.TECH, & MBA. The JIS college is Autonomous Institute from UGC and MAKAUT in 2010. NAAC has accredited the college with grade A. Built across 17 acres of land, the classrooms are ventilated, canteens, auditorium, hostels, laboratory, sports facilities, and environment-friendly Green Campus. JIS College admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses is online and also offline. To take admission in an undergraduate program students need to pass 10+2 with 45% marks from any recognized board and for postgraduate, students need to pass Bachelor of Technology from any institute. I preferred this college because the teaching process is totally different from another college, this college has Flipclass where students can see the videos related to the topics and easily understand. The college holds MNC companies.

I choose this Mechanical Engineering course because mechanical engineering students having different scopes to get a job. And the main thing is that mechanical engineering students can get placed in any department at different companies. This college holds different companies with the highest package of 40,000/- per month. The faculties of this college are well qualified and are always kind & helpful. They are all-time inspiring us. This college conducts lots of webinars, training, alumni meet for us to enhance ourself. This college has 2-3 teachers for every subject. All faculty having Masters's Degree qualification backgrounds and some are P.hd backgrounds. All teachers having well-teaching quality. They are trying to teach until the students learn that. In JISCE college exam is so tough and also the examination guards. If you don't read the books it will be difficult to pass the exam. But if you read books and follow the class you will be performed well I guaranteed.

JISCE college provides many internships under various companies. The college also provides internships for those students who will be academically top and internships will be held in Bangkok. During the final year, the student has to make a project if the project is an innovative type this project got patent by the college. So many projects are here in this college that's got patent.

The student will eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester. The JIS COLLEGE holds various companies for placements such as Accenture, Pinnacle, TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, IBM, Wipro, Siemens, Just Dial, Cognizant, Amri, Mindtree, etc. In the recent 2020 year, 45% of students got placed in the above-reputed companies. And in this 2021 year, 30% of students got placed in MNC. The highest package salary is 40,000/- per month and the lowest salary package is 20,000/-. The college has a dedicated training & placement cell where makes students industrial-ready. This JISCE college provides internships for academically top students in Bangkok. After getting a job from this college I want to continue my Master's degree parallelly with this job.

In JISCE different program has different fees structure. For B. Tech students need to pay a total of 40,800/- in Four Years, for M.Tech 2,22,600/- in 2 years, for MBA 4,97,900/- in 2 years, For BBA, BCA 2,40,450/- in 3 years. This college has a TFW quota. In JISCE college Educational Bank Loan facility is available. This college provides scholarships to students merit-based. And government offers scholarships to students based on some specific criteria. The name of the scholarships is Oasis Scholarship, Aikyashree scholarship, Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, NSP Nation Scholarship, NER UGC Scholarship, MAKAUT Student Welfare Scholarship, Vidyasaarathi Scholarship, Pranati Scholarship-AICTE, Saksham Scholarship-AICTE. Different companies hold this college for campusing. And the highest package of stipend is 40,000/- per month.

Every year college conducts annual sports for students. There are so many games likes, 100, 200, 400, 800 meters race, High and Long jump, etc. And also JISCE College arranges "JISTECH FEST" every year. It is a very grateful moment to show projects to others and win the tech fest. The college has two separate common rooms for boys and girls. In the common room, so many indoor games are there like 8 Ball Pool, Chess, Ludo, Caram, etc. JISCE college has a free Wi-Fi campus. This college has around 250 computers are there for students with the internet. In college, the library has various types of books for students and also for faculties. And the library has around 100 national and international journals. JISCE College has well-equipped classrooms and the main thing is that the college has Flip Learning Classrooms with high-speed internet and a Laptop in each Flip Classrooms. The college has different clubs like photography, sports club, etc.

The JISCE college provides two separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The college hostel provides environment-friendly rooms with free wifi. And provides a separate bed for each student and also provides a medical facility. The hostel provides good and hygienic food for students. The hostel provides 4 times foods breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, and Dinner. In breakfast menu is bread, banana, jam or jelly. On the lunch menu is rice, vegetables, dal, fish or chicken, chutney. In snack menu is Noodle. And in dinner menu is like the lunch menu. The first-time hostel registration fee is 5000/- and 33,000/- per 6 months total fees is 38,000/-. The college around different types of rented rooms and PGs are available at affordable price.

There is no kind of Group Discussion, interview, and written Test during admission. During online admission, students need to visit the official site and complete the registration with documents, after completed the registration form students need to pay registration fees and take the printed application form for further references. And documents will be verified after registration at college.
