Dipayan Ghoshal's Review On Birla Institute Of Management Technology - [BIMTECH], Greater Noida

The college has a legacy of more than 20 years and the name of Birla attached with it, I have seen reviews of this college and NIRF ranking which is 46. Even my coaching institute has referred me. And as the early admission process is there I applied for it.

The course curriculum is decent with varied experience as it includes regular presentations and report making, and has quite an intellectual and knowledgeable curriculum. The faculty of BIMTECH is its USP it has quite qualified and intelligent faculty with corporate experience. The exam is trimester vise and occurs timely and also has continuous assessment

College offers decent internship opportunities in this COVID times many companies came for an internship but startups are more, but talk about big names Bajaj Alliance, EY, SBI Insurance, VOLVO Eicher, JLL, Safexpress, etc came for internships. But don't expect a high stipend in your internship.

Placements are decent with an average ranging around 7 lakhs and the highest package this year amid COVID is around 12.5-13 lakhs per annum. To date, around 80% of seniors are placed and mostly all the students grab placement, it's about how you perform not only in studies but all over.

The fee structure is decent and in these COVID times there is no hike in fees of institutions, they give scholarships to the students who have scored 85 percentile or above in CAT or XAT examination. I am currently studying but seniors are placed decently with an average package of around 7 lakhs.

Campus life is decent, but the campus is a little small but life at BIMTECH is enjoyable with different kinds of cultural fest such as Reflection they also conduct different sports events as well. The library is very good and aesthetic. The college has many clubs and conduits like SPOCO, CULCO, Alumni conduit, Editorial club, etc. They all are student-driven and very active.

Boys Hostel for 1st year is outside campus named as RCI vidya Vihar which is around 1.5 km from campus. But there is a bus facility provided by BIMTECH for going to college and coming back. 2nd year downwards it is in campus hostel. For girls, the hostel is inside the campus, but ya life at RCI is best as compared to an campus hostel.

There was WAT(Written Ability Test) that was conducted on topics related to aerospace followed by 25 mins of PI and based on both these aspects and merit I got selected. I just practiced by myself for WAT and interview.
