Entrance Preview

I gave JEE examination and assam CEE examination. My entrance score JEE is27 and assam CEE is 102. Assam CEE is entrance for both medical and engineering. My score is for engineering.

Internships Opportunities

Internship provided but self finance not in college in industrial training. No stipend provided. But industry are good and knowledge gaining institute.

Placement Experience

From 300 students 180 placed in on campus rest of campus. Wipro ,tns, TCS, Bosch, airtel, Vodafone package 1.8 lacs to 5lac per annum. More training and placement services is good. Trained students and provide placement even after passing and more than six month to 1year later.

College Events

26 January independence day, sarswati puja, holi, may day, sports day, annual day, culture program, foundation day , ganesh puja, biswakarma puja, durga puja, diwali, laxmi puja, x-mas , new year, IDD. And we all enjoy this festival with joy and brother hood.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very friendly fees structure 55000 per semester and 1800 exam fees per semester. You can pay in monthly installments as per your convince before exam. No fees pressure or headache to parents, fees waive for poor student and martious students. Scholarship program also available.

Fees and Financial Aid

SBI bank education loan provide d with minimum document. With hassle free transaction.Punjab national bank also provided educational loan to students. As far as I know SBI tie up with institute for better growth of students.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is good. Semester system with good syllabus module.standard pattern for each subject. No exam pressure ,laboratory is good learning experience never feel bore of this. Sometime sucks with some boring lectures never the less good experience in life.

Best qualified teacher, guest faculty from IIT and not. Workshop in IIT. Permanent faculty are highly qualified with p.hd. help in project, discussion on new technology ,personal guide like parents. Motivat towards success. All in one best faculty I have got.

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Placement Experience:

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

5 or 6 semester onwards students are eligible for internships in off campus . They can opt for PPO. There are severe companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Flipkart, and some top MNCs . overall campus is perfect to spend 4 years

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.
