Remarks
Good - Faculty is really good, well experienced, helpful and keeps you on your toes. Bad - Location is a big no The admission process was quite smooth and enriching, it started with a WAT and then a PI.
Course Curriculum Overview
As described, Faculty is what is going on, they give you real-life examples. The course heavily indulges in a lot of case studies giving you practical experience. Exams are quite difficult and happen every month.
Internships Opportunities
Summer internships at Bimtech start after the second semester in January. Companies like Bluestar, Carlsberg, Refract consulting, Tata consumer good, Stoic, IDBI and many more have come to hire students from different backgrounds.
Placement Experience
Placements are decent, if you are consistent you will get placed in a good company with a good package. Average goes around 7.5-8.5 lakhs, with companies like Wipro, VECV, Infosys, Lenskart, Gartner, Aditya Birla group, Nopaperforms and etc. Approx 95% of the batch gets placed
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees and scholarships are just like other schools in this league. You get a scholarship for being in the top 5 of the batch and also if you score more than 85 in the cat. With respect to ROI, it totally depends upon your calibre.
Campus Life
College is very lively, every week clubs and conduits organise an event for students to engage them in extracurricular and co-curricular. The library is well equipped with all the books you can think of. Classrooms are really good, in arc shape so that everyone can have a healthy discussion. We have basketball, cricket, football, table tennis, badminton and many others that keep us fit and help us to relieve our stress from exams and studies.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are pretty good, clean and have all the basic amenities. For the first year, it is twin-sharing and from the second it is single sharing. Mess food is decent and not that bad. Mess staff is very welcoming and always helps you with good food.
Interview Experience
There was WAT, which was followed by PI. The topic for WAT was on the general issues that were happening in India at that time and PI included more about the engineering and my opinions on the current issues.
