Remarks
Bimtech is a renowned institute in the NCR region and when I was studying in amity, I have heard good reviews about this college so decided to go for it. As far as the bad aspect is concerned, I would say the fees a bit high. The admission process at Bimtech is smooth. You fill online registration form through their website and then give your interview. The interview has 2 rounds. In one round, you have to do a write-up of around 200 words and the second round is a personal interview. I am from UP and college is near my home. moreover, it was the best option from the colleges which were available in my bucket. CollegeDunia, Career 360, Student Khabri.
Course Curriculum Overview
PGDM is a flagship course of Bimtech and it has good placements. There is a decent student-faculty ratio and I have never felt that the class is overcrowded or something like that. There are different teachers for every course. The faculty of Bimtech is highly experienced and qualified. They have a mixture of bookish as well industry knowledge. Some of the professors are really good at teaching and teaches by giving the example of real-time based cases. The Bimtech releases a calendar every year and follows it strictly. There is a trimester system and it is moderate to pass the exams.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, many companies come for internship. There are a variety of companies for Marketing but the limited choice is there for other courses. Companies like EY, Stoic Investing, Bloggers alliance, ICICI Bank, IDFC first bank, NFL etc comes for internship. There are good projects which are offered during internship and your college mentor also assists you in it.
Placement Experience
From Trimester 4, students become eligible for placements. There are various companies like Mazars, EY, Infosys, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj capital visits. The highest package as now I have heard is around 10 Lakhs in marketing and the average package is around 7 lakhs. Around 90-95 % of students get placed. I am planning to do a decent job and hoping for good placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
As far as I have heard & seen, there is no such fee hike policy. Yes, the cost to study is a bit high as compared to various other institutes. Bimtech provides a scholarship for students who scored more than 85 percentile in CAT of 2 Lakhs. It also provides a Scholarship to EWS of 50,000. Moreover, trimester toppers are provided scholarship ranging from 25 to 50 thousand. I dont think there is any job on campus that provides a stipend.
Campus Life
Bimtech is full of clubs and conduits. There are many fests by different clubs like ARAMBH, CENTRE STAGE etc. They are generally conducted around September during normal times. All the types of books and journals are available in the library. Classrooms have all the necessary amenities. There are weekly matches between courses like football, volleyball, cricket, badminton and basketball. Alumni Conduit, Cultural Conduit, Majlis Society, Eco chamber, Bizmark.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is compulsory in Bimtech. Rooms are decent and there are 4 fours in one cluster of boys hostel. There are different hostel buildings and 1st-year students have a hostel outside the campus, around 2 KM away. Food conduit decided the menu for food and quality of food is good. The registration process of the hostel is simple.
Interview Experience
Yes, there a written test in which we were given a random topic and we had to write about 200 words for it. For taking admission to Bimtech, you have to fill the online registration form on their website and then attend all the further processes. There different stages of online registration form like Early bird etc. The registration form cost less if you fill it in at the early stages near the CAT exam. I prepared through youtube videos and coaching.
