Remarks
BIMTECH has a location advantage when compared with other tier 2 colleges, which are Delhi & Noida. Talking about corn college should improve on the quality of placements i.e. type of job roles students are getting. The best part I preferred this college is it has a good NIRF ranking of 45, faculties are very good. I referred to CollegeDunia, Siksha, India Today ranking & my coaching institute ranking prior to selecting this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Marketing with Data Analytics as my minor, I personally think BIMTECH is better for Marketing as compared with other majors. Do not go for HR, Operations in BIMTECH. Faculties are USP of BIMTECH they are very cooperative and almost each and every faculty hold PhD degree and good teaching and cooperate experience. IIM pass out faculties are there such as Maslamani sir and Dhurva Sir (Both Marketing faculty). BIMTECH has Pnkaj Priya sir which is a gem of the college. Papers occur timely each year you have 3 end terms and continuous assessment based on projects.
Internships Opportunities
College provides an internship opportunity for students, but mostly startup comes for internships and also job role for interns is mostly sales oriented. Big companies that came for internships are EY, HDFC, SBI, JLL, BAJAJ, TATA Consultancy, VOLVO Eicher etc.
Placement Experience
Placement is average, if compared with colleges who are in tier 2 they are good, many big companies come for placement drives such as Gartner, KPMG, Infosys, TATA, Maruti, EY, ZEE, etc. But 40-50% of banks come for placements and they choose students in bulk. The average package is around 7 lakhs and the highest is around 13 lakhs, but the good part is most of the students get placed ie more than 95% of students get placement from the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is decent no hike this year but generally they increase fees every year ROI is also average, there is a scholarship for meritorious students who have scored 85 percentile above in CAT or XAT examination. I got an internship from college at BAJAJ Capital but there is no stipend but JD is decent (Wealth Management).
Campus Life
The campus is beautiful with aesthetic lighting and lots of trees and a place to hang out with your friends, specially machans, your 2 years will definitely be very hectic and exciting as there are many fests and events taking place all the time in the college. There are many clubs and conduit in this college (Cultural, sports, placecom, marketing, music society etc).
Hostel Facilities
For boys the first year would be sharing a room in RCI Hostel which is out of campus 1.5kms distant, hostels would have AC's, heaters, fridges, TV, geysers. (Ps washrooms are very small) For girls and 2nd-year boys, rooms are single occupancy and in one cluster we live with 4 people. The best part is the food they will keep you full every day, the food menu is prepared by food conduit which is student-driven, and the quality and taste of food are also good. Just one drawback nonveg is not cooked in the mess, only you will get eggs.
Interview Experience
There was a long process of selection it was done in around 3 phases (Phase1- December, Phase2- Jan, Feb, Phase-3 March), you can sit in any phase. You will have WAT (Written Ability Test) my topic was related to investment in aerospace by India. The topic would generally be linked to recent events. Generally cut off for CAT and XAT would be around 75 percentile and for CMAT it would be around 95 Percentile, for PGDM.
