R J college is a very highly reputed college in Mumbai. I selected this college cause the teaching staff of this college is dedicated to their work and they have good qualifications. Mostly there are no bad aspects of this college cause the teaching staff is good, the location is close to Ghatkopar station, the classrooms are neat and big, they have a good reputation, the college campus is really nice too. The admission process is based on merit. The dates are based on Mumbai University Form List. You can apply for this college online and it is really good and preferable to other colleges if you want to study well because of the points mentioned above. The college has its own website which will give you a deep look inside the college system and it will also help you admission process cause they have demo videos on it.

I preferred B.Sc Botany cause I want to be a Botanist. The teaching staff of Botany is really good and highly qualified. All of the teachers are sincere in their work. All teachers are experienced and have good qualifications. Most of the teachers have completed their Ph.D. in the respective field. Teachers really look into students and solve their doubts. Also in this online teaching era, the teaching is very understandable and really good. Term exams are conducted twice and as the college is Autonomous so they have their own portion. They also conduct internal assessment exams for revision.

On the college site, you will get full information about the internship they offer. Mostly the college allows us to do internships with TCS, QX global group, oracle group, Capgemini, etc. They have interviews and tests for the internship selection.

The college has created a placement cell for the students. You can see the companies like Capgemini, Infosys, L&T infotech, TCS, Coppergate visit the college for placements. They have diffrent activities regarding this job placement like Career Fair VISTAS, Personality Development, CV writing, Personal Interview, career planning, and career mapping sessions. They also have created a new policy since 2012-13 of 'One person one job'. I plan to attempt for CDS examination.

The fees are really affordable compared to other colleges, And the main part is they are worth paying. They have 3 scholarships 1.state and central government scholarship 2.college scholarship 3.BHOJRAJ SCHOLARS is a scholarship program organized by a charitable trust. You will get all the information about scholarships in the academics section on the college website.

They have diffrent types of extracurricular activities for example NCC, NSS, sports, annual festival. They also have an anti-ragging squad, vigilance squad, library advisory committee, DLLE The NCC unit of R J college is really good. They belong to 6 Mahrastra BN, Mumbai Group-A. They organize diffrent activities for Ncc cadets like cycle expedition, camps, etc.

There is no interview or group discussion or written test for admissions. The admissions are totally based on your 12th percentage or merit whatever you say. Also, the admission process is online which is under Mumbai University.
