Remarks
I got selected in IMT-N & Hyderabad also got a call from XIME, Bangalore, but comparing these colleges with BIMTECH Noida, it was way better than other colleges. In terms of India Today ranking and NIRF ranking (46th), BIMTECH was a better option for me. The admission process was simple I appeared for an interview before my CAT scores were out i.e. Phase-1 interview process, and I got a call after the CAT results. There was WAT and Interview which were held at major cities across India.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am a student of Marketing with BFSI as my major, BIMTECH provides you a variety of options for your Minor (BFSI, IT-IES, Data Analytics) which give you an edge in the companies who come for these domains. The student-faculty ratio is also decent for every 15 students there is one faculty. And the best part is most of the faculties are PHd holders and have good corporate exposure, some of the facilities are not up to the mark and need to be replaced urgently ( will not name them). Exams are conducted tourism wise and colleges conduct exams as scheduled in the prospectus.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies come for internships especially for marketing ( Majorly sales), but most of them are startups and if big companies bate there they only select a few students l. Major companies that came this year are - EY, VOLVO Eicher, JLL, Baja, Stoic, etc.
Placement Experience
Placements are average and it depends on your performance and capabilities you have, more than 100 companies come for placement but big names are very less which are- Accenture, EY, KPMG, Zee, Gartner, Bajaj, TATA Consultancy, etc. The highest package this year is around 14L and the lowest is as low as 4 L. Average is about 7 L.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee Structure is decent with an average ROI there is no fees hike this year, total fees including hostel and mess charges are around 12,500,00 which is average as compared with other b schools. Scholarships are given to the top 8 meritorious students from every trimester (Rs 50,000 & Rs 25,000) named the late GD Birla Scholarship. Also, students scoring 85 percentile above in XAT or CAT gets a Basant Birla scholarship worth Rs 3,50,000
Campus Life
Campus Life is fun especially spending time with your friends at the cafeteria and machan. There are many cultural and sports programs running every time, in the college, but due to COVID this year fewer events were happening in the college, but generally, every other club or conduit conducts events regularly. I am part of the ALUMNI conduit of BIMTECH and there are so many clubs and conduits you can be part of. And you can also go for a student exchange out of India if there is no COVID.
Hostel Facilities
There is a hostel on the campus for 2nd-year boys named Nalanda hostels and for 1st and 2nd-year girls it's on-campus named as Taxila hostel. For 1st year boys, there is a different hostel outside campus named RCI vidya Vihar which is around 1.6 km from campus. And students usually travel via bus or own vehicle. Food taste and quality are very good in a mess as compared to the cafeteria.
Interview Experience
There were PI and WAT process at BIMTECH it was smooth and well managed by the college's administration. My topic was related to Space research, and I got selected on the basis of WAT, PI, and my CAT score(78 .14 percentile).
