I am a 2nd-year student of Netaji Subhas Engineering College, this college is a good technology-based college in the southern zone of Kolkata. Through the WBJEE entrance examination, you can take admission to this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I prefer Information Technology in this college because I heard from seniors about the faculty and placement of this department. There are 50+ faculty member in this department and 120 students each year. There are mentors for each student and they also take mentorship classes.
Placement Experience
After completing 6th-semester students are eligible to give the exam for placements. There is more than one round of exam before the interview. Students with good YGPA get a chance for on-campus placements. TCS is a mass recruiter company. Other companies like Wipro, Infosys, cognizant are also taken freshers from our collage based on their skills and working power. The highest package in placement is 12 lakhs per anum and the average package is 4.5 to 6 lakh per anum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total 4 years course fees are 4 lakhs. Our college also takes admission based on the TWF quota. Approximately 75 to 85 percent of students of your department are got an on-campus job. Students who score well get a chance for free GATE training.
Campus Life
In our college NSEC has its own playground there is a court for cricket, football and hockey. There is a Central Library in our college with useful books. Cultural fest, tech fest, freshers, the departmental fest also held in our college.
