Remarks
This college provides a unique array of excellent and learned faculties which makes the learning experience easy and engaging. In addition to this, it has a very well functional tech club and also encourages extracurricular activities and also provides a platform for everyone to nourish their talent. I chose this college because it was called one of the best private colleges on most of the websites and matched all my expectations.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course over others as electronics was something fascinating to me right as a child. Each faculty has to deal with a class of 40 students and sometimes more than one faculty teaches separate parts of course material. The faculty is supremely well qualified and all of them try an engaging and interactive way of teaching which makes it easier for us. The sem exams are held after each sem that is at an interval of 5 months, however regular assessment and class tests are quite common.
Placement Experience
Placement starts from the beginning of the 7th semester renowned companies like TCS, CTS, Byjus, Microsoft, Cognizant and various others come to college for student placements and roughly 80% of the students in my department get placed On average a package of 3.5 LPA is common however several times each year Students grasp high paying jobs in the likes of 7.5 LPA and 12 LPA PA.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no remarkable fee hike atleast since I joined the college, it costs me a little under 4 lacs to study here. I entered through WBJEE and I did not know of any such scholarships that exist. However, it is quite affordable and reasonable to study here.
Campus Life
The annual tech fest named Avenir takes place once a year, avahann which is an Intra college tech fest also occurs annually. All departmental fests are also held quite often around Feb and March. The library is well equipped with an array of books relevant and up to date with the course curriculum. The sports meet is also something that occurs annually and the college encourages open mics, quizzes and debates all around. The official tech club in Phoenix, which looks after fests and another extracurricular forum on topics like robotics. ECE department also has its own student body called Zener which encourages the student to work on projects and also makes sure that the students are well informed and trained for opportunities to test their skill.
