Remarks

I had an average score in my Cat. Therefore choosing this college. BIMTECH accept students having marks above the 70 percentile. Also coming from Kolkata, the location of BIMTECH is also nice. I expected to have great exposure in Delhi NCR. As the job opportunity will be more.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for Marketing with Data Analytics as my specialization course. Teachers are really knowledgeable, skilled and experienced. They share their experiences with us through examples which gives us immense pleasure and maintains our interest.

Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship is luck based. Once you fill and got selected in a company then you can not back out. You have to continue with that form only. Because of covid's tension. Many students were filling almost every internship, not looking at the job profile which is a must. Mostly sales-related jobs come.

Placement Experience

Placements are average. All the students get placed. But some gets the cherry while some struggle a lot to get a decent company. The highest package is around 13 lakhs and the average is around 6-7 lakhs. Most of the students get the average salary. Minimum is around 5 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

BIMTECH tuition fee is 12 lakhs rupees and the mess and hostel charges are 4 lakhs. So the combined amount is 16 lakhs. Which is the overall cost. The scholarship is given to those who scored more than 85 percentile in CAT/XAT.

Campus Life

The campus is great. I'm fortunate to meet many people from different states and culture. Also, I'm fortunate to find many people from my state as well. Making me feel like a family. There are many groups through which we meet new people at every competition.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel and mess are the best part of BIMTECH. The mess has very tasty food. And the most interesting and important thing is that the menu is made according to the students and by the students. There is a blend of a different culture in the food.

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Interview Experience

Initially, during the time before covid, a Written aptitude test and personal interview were held. But because of covid. Everything is going online. So the written aptitude test is now replaced by the group discussion.

Worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college is good. Most of our seniors got placed in good organizations. Companies lying under fortune 500 also comes in our college for placement. And before internship each student have to go through a live project provided by the college which will help in deciding the specialization.

I Business Institute overview from the point of view of the student.

Placement Experience:

Students when they comes back from their summer internships, starts appearing for the internship interviews. The final interviews takes place months before the completion of the course. Companies like amul, delloit, amazon, meesho, flipkart comes in the campus for hiring. Many students get the PPO from their intership companies and they dont have to sit fot the final placements. the highest package offerd is 28LPA and the lowest rangese between 6 to 8 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed and rest opts for starting their own startups. After completing the cousre i want to place myself in a reputed company in a reputed designation, however through our curriculum i am also looking to start my own startup and work upon it simultaneously my job.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in the college as there is a new placement team hired. which is bringing the result. For my senior batch, companies like Amazon and Toyota came for hiring, and also companies from every domain are coming. The average package was around 9 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because I like to interact with different people talk with then know about them. In marketing field it's very common which influence me to chhode this and I have taken finanace as 2nd specialization because I am from accounts background. A good college for PGDM

Placement Experience:

From the 4th trimester, students are eligible for placement. There are some major companies like HUL, HCl, Dabur, Toyato and they are offering a good ampount to the students like 11 LPA, 12 LPA and also they are coming for higher package like 18 LPA. College have 100% placement record.

Comapny will visit in campus after September. And here alomst 80 to 85 company visit in this college. Likes hdfc, Dabur, icici, mother dairy, wipro, Infosys and many startup companies. And almost all student got job in campus. Last year highest package is 8.5 lacs and average package is 3.5 to 4 lacs. Here almost 90-95% student placed. In starting 5-8 years I make me financially strong and learn about market and condition. After I looking for a startup.

TRUTH ABOUT BIMTECH

I applied to other colleges like FORE and GIM. I gave interviews for both the colleges. But was not able to clear the shortlist ib both the colleges. I had no option but to choose BIMTECH. However I would say Fore is always better than BIMTECH. and GIM is always preffered....Read More
