Remarks
Birla Institute of Management Technology was one of the best choices I had while making the final decisions to take admission in a college considering my CAT percentile. BIMTECH has got decent placement record in fairly good companies. It has very experienced faculties. Huge alumni network base. The campus infrastructure is good. The hostel and mess facilities are also up to the mark. The classrooms and the library of the college are built well. It's a nice option to choose for the students who have scored between 75%ile to 85%ile in the CAT.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is up to date and very dynamic. I have taken Marketing as my specialization. And also I have chosen Data Analytics as my business vertical. This specialization has huge demand in the market. So I am hoping for a good placement package by the end of this year. Talking about the faculty to student ratio, it is about 1:45. Almost all the facilities have good industry experience. Talking about the term exam. BIMTECH's 2 year PGDM is divided into 6 trimesters. 3 trimesters in each year.
Internships Opportunities
Many startups and few good companies visit BIMTECH for internships. They also offer short-term project and pre-placement offers. Companies like E&Y , Outlook, Oorjagram India Pvt. Ltd. Etc visit BIMTECH.
Placement Experience
The placement of BIMTECH is okay. The average package is around 8.2 LPA CTC. Most startups visit BIMTECH, but some renowned company also visit here for placements like Amazon, Maruti Suzuki etc. Every year about 90% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution Fees: 1200000 for two years. Hostel fees: 400000 for two years. Scholarship: Based on merit- CAT percentile. More than 85%ile students get a 2 lakh scholarship. End term toppers get 50,000 and 25,000 scholarship.
Campus Life
Campus Life is pretty good here. We have Conduits snd Club for organizing different activities. We have Conduits like Cultural Conduit, Editorial Conduit, Sports Conduit, Placement Committee, Food Conduit etc. And Clubs like Majlis, E-Cell, 22yards, Palette. We have the Music Society of BIMTECH. Music Room.
Hostel Facilities
BIMTECH provides hostel and mess facilities. Rooms in the hostel can be single or double sitter. There is an RCI hostel that is outside the main campus and then there is an in-campus hostel. The mess facility is pretty good.
Interview Experience
My PI-Essay round was held in Hyderabad last year. The topic of the Essay, Will India become a 5 trillion economies by 2025. The PI process was smooth. I prepared for these two round via online coaching. I interviewer asked questions related to my work experience and my hobbies, my goals, my future plans and questions related to my graduation.
