Remarks
The college experience was wonderful, the faculty members are very supportive. From the first year itself, the students are groomed to become industry-ready engineers. Just a little concern that the library is only open for 18 hrs and not 24 hrs. The college is preferable because it is very close to Pune Railway station, so from the traveling point of view thats pretty suitable. The college is a part of a reputed organization that is Modern Education society one of the oldest educational organizations. The college has to work a bit on the college placements otherwise it is a fine experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to become a mechanical engineer since childhood so from that point of view there was no ambiguity whatsoever. The faculty is highly educated most of them having Phd in their own field. The team exams were taken on time and we were notified well in advance for preparation. The proctors were strict considering the dignity of the exam.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities were given to many students but that is only for the BE students. The faculties make arrangements with their references in the industries for student internships. The internship can be paid or unpaid depending on the organization.
Placement Experience
Students from TE 6th sem are eligible for the placement. It has a notable alumni network and highly recognized pass out. The placement cell has a good track record of placing around 50% every year. All the top-tier companies visit for placement. Wipro, Cummins, TCS, Barclay's, Schneider, ZF Steering, SKF, Election are some of the companies visiting the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are 118000 for open and creamy layer students. For availing of the EBC scholarship, you have to be within the non-creamy layer of the society and there are other scholarships as well on the basis of caste.
Campus Life
The overall experience was pretty outstanding. I would say the library is open for 18 hrs everyday though it should be open for 24 hrs. Hostel facilities are up to the mark. The college has various sports teams and participates in various national and state-level tournaments. Splendid and throbbing campus life is what makes it worth it.
