Remarks

A really good place to learn and grow with adequate facilities and a friendly environment. I loved the four years of my life here. You would learn a lot about process control, automation, microprocessor etc. I would definitely recommend this place and take up applied electronics and instrumentation to those really passionate about automation, industrial processes and embedded systems and want to pursue a career in it. Instrumentation is having a lot of prospects abroad and in our country and here in NSEC you would be nurtured with the best knowledge under the guidance of an efficient professor. You would get good placements as we have all kinds of courses in our course curriculum. The lab facilities are good and everyone would gain quality practical knowledge. This is a great stream and a great college to start a career.

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
