Remarks
The college having wonderful faculties having vast and upgraded skills in the technical field, a huge library/e-library flooded with all books/lectures of your departmental needs, the labs are well equipped with advanced instruments and machinery to enhance your practical skill which is utmost necessary when you opt for engineering, also college having the good environment. College also offers a good placement count, especially in the IT sector.
Course Curriculum Overview
The reason for selecting Mechanical Engineering was my interest in the automobile and the mechanism behind the same. The faculty-student ratio is good. The faculties in the department are well skilled in technical aspects, also habitual with an advanced way of teaching. Semesters exam usually take place in December-Jan and May-June with proper invigilation.
Placement Experience
From the 6th or 7th semester onwards, students are eligible for campus placement. TCS, COGNIZANT, IBM, Amazon etc.(as per data released in college prospectus) recruit students of the various branch. 3 to 3.5 LPA is the average package offered and 8 to 10 LPA highest package is offered as per our seniors and data are given in college prospectus. Most students got placed in TCS.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee charged by the college is approximately 42k-43k per semester (excluding your food and lodging). Also, they charge the training fee at the time of admission (don't remember the exact sum). College offers a good count of placement in various companies (especially the IT sector).
Campus Life
A good number of books and lectures are available in the library cum e-library to fulfil your technical needs. Zest is the annual sports fest. PHOENIX club, NSEC Entrepreneurship cell, etc. And many more college events also take place annually which includes Freshers' Welcome, Avenir (Annual Tech Fest), Mesmerizer (Annual Cultural Fest), Reunions (which includes Homecoming, Melange, Inceptra, Smriti, S'accorder, Samhar), etc.
