Remarks
Out of the most reputed groups for engineering, Techno India Group is one of them. And NSEC is the oldest among all the colleges under Techno India. Thus one can rely on this college as it has been known for its brilliance in training and placing students for years. Getting admitted into this college is quite simple. You need to get a decent rank in WBJEE to get into this college through E Counselling. The old semester starts around the end of July.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is the most updated one as instructed and suggested by Makaut. The faculty members are extremely qualified and very well experienced. They provide a very easy and friendly environment for the growing interest and better learning of the students. The faculty: student ratio is 1:15 approximately. There is one end semester exam conducted by Makaut and in each semester there is 4 Continuous Assessment test (CAT) which is conducted in college itself. Also, there is a weekly class performance test to know your progress.
Placement Experience
Our college has a very good placement cell. They are capable of providing around 95-98% in campus jobs to the department students. Some of the major recruiting companies include TCS, CTS, Infosys, Google, Intel, Bosch, etc. They provide an average package of around 4-5 LPA and dream job packages could be as high as 10-12 LPA. My plans after the end of this training are to get a job in a decent MNC and then after getting some experience go for MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is around 90k per annum which includes tution fees (90%), lab fees (3%), library fees (2%) and others (5%). There are a lot of government scholarship schemes that drive off 50% to 100% of the tution fees. And one can easily get those into their fees structure if they can achieve any of those scholarships.
Campus Life
The college buildings and campus is well maintained and is very clean and hygienic. We have got a very beautiful campus (you can easily visit our website and take a glance at it). The classrooms are spacious and the labs have AC. We have got a very big library which consists latest prescribed books by the University and also provides e-books for better understanding. Our college has its own football, cricket, basketball and kabaddi team and they take part in most of the inter-college competitions. We have got social groups like Rotaract, Tech clubs like Pheonix and many more.
