This College is a well known and established one with good faculties and facilities from many years. Comes in the rank of top 10 Engineering Colleges in Kolkata. It is very close to Kavi Subhash metro station which makes transportation easier for a lot of students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course B.Tech in ECE in NSEC has NBA accreditation and has a lot of prospects. The faculties of the ECE department are really knowledgeable and experienced for a long time. The Unit exams are conducted perfectly on time and are not so much hard to pass. If someone prepares well, it's quite easy to get good grades.
Placement Experience
On-campus placement starts from the 6th Semester onwards. TCS is the main recruiter and there are other good companies like CTS, Byjus, L&T Infotech, Thoughtworks, etc. Last year the placement for ECE students was really good. Package starts around 4 LPA and 4.5 LPA to around 8 to 10 LPA (depending on the company and student).
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is almost the same for all the Colleges in Kolkata. So the fees are legible. The total cost for B.Tech in ECE or any other stream will cost around 4 lakh. If you want to have an education loan or such, the College helps a lot in that situation.
Campus Life
This is one of the best aspect of this College that there is just NO Ragging involved inside the campus, you just get to meet amazing and friendly seniors who will help you a lot. The Central Library contains almost every book needed and easily accessible. Also, there are other books for your extra knowledge. Classrooms contain projectors and are large enough. Now coming to the point of the fest. There is a wonderful Fresher’s Welcome, departmental fests (for ECE it's Zener), Annual fests, a wonderful tech fest (Avenir). There are all sorts of clubs Coding, Cultural, etc.
