Remarks
The college has good campus and some excellent faculties. Apart from these the various societies and tech clubs add the cherry on the top. The labs are well equipped with the best equipment. The college also provided extra mentorship and guidance for various competitions like SIH, Hult Prize, etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had a personal interest in the field of Electronics. The student: faculty ratio is about 15:1. Most of the faculties have PHD degree and are engaged in some research work now and then. Exams were conducted based on a strict schedule. In the end, passing is all about studying.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies offer internships like TCS. Mostly off-campus but still internships are available for those who seek them. Various types of projects are considered for the internships and it depends on the post itself.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible from 6th sem onwards. The highest package this year is about 12-15 LPA and the average package is about 4.5 LPA. From the ECE dept. Out of 120 students 110 were placed. I plan to sit for the placements drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study for 4 years is about 4.8 lakhs in total. If you have the quota for the Tution Waiver Fees then the amount is quite less as such there are no scholarships available as of what I know except for the government ones.
Campus Life
The annual fest is known as the MESMERIZER and the annual tech fest known as the AVENIR takes place during the months of March and February respectively. The college library has lots of access to various journals. Along with this the IEEE Societies have access to the IEEE libraries. The GNX, DSC-Nsec, the Phoenix are the tech clubs run by students.
