Remarks
I chose this college because it's one of the best colleges in West Bengal. It is also located in a suitable location from where all modes of transport are available. The teacher faculty and lab facilities of the ECE department is very good. Lectures are given with the help of projectors which makes it easier for students to understand. So overall the ECE department of NSEC is very good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose ECE because it is one of the best departments of the college. The total number of students is nearly 120 which is being divided into 2 sections with 60 each. Faculty members of the ECE departments are highly qualified and they provide us with the simplest methods of lectures which are quite effective and which makes us understand the subjects easier. the term exams are taken in a timely with 2 unit tests are taken before each semester.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for placements after completing the sixth semester by 3rd year students. Companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro are the major recruiters of the college with also other major companies come to our college for recruiting students.95% of the students get placed from the ECE department with other students opting for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is such that you have to give the required fees before each semester and it is divided into 8 semesters. Scholarships and campus jobs are given with an adequate amount of stipend. Therefore overall fee structure is normal as most of the colleges.
Campus Life
The tech fest of tech club Phoenix is held in February and departmental fests are held throughout the year individually. Sports fest is also held in March. The library of our college is one of the best across West Bengal with an adequate amount of books available there. Many extracurricular activities take place throughout the semester where students from all years participate. the college also has a social club called Rotaract Club of NSEC which performs social activities each month.
