Remarks
When I was admitted to this college there was every good thing was getting except road after metro. Now about the last 5-6 months ago, that problem also gets solved. It has a very good campus and faculy members. You just have to travel more to reach out to this college if neither you're local nor living in mess near it. There is no hostel facility provided by this college so you have to rent a flat or can choose to live in a mess which is you can easily get. As this college is situated in ruler area so dont expect good fancy food near college and college canteen is same as that. You have to travel 1.5-2 Km for fancy food near spencer's, In the case of studies, you'll get help mostly from every professor. You can take admission by entrance rank or management quota. I took admission by entrance rank so easily tell you that they'll help you out in every single thing you're confused in. I preferred this college because of its name and fame and good placement record as well as a good teaching facility.
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm very interested in the automation part that's why I choose it. faculty: student ratio is 2:17. Three faculties have done Phd and the rest have a degree of Masters. Term exams are held as per university time criteria and passing these are average.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, every student is eligible if they fulfill the company's criteria. Many companies visited including TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, and many more companies. TCS is a mass recruiter. Atleast 60% of eligible students getting placed from my department. I'll work in the company for 3 years and then go for either Masters's or Govt job.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year there will be a 1000 rupee hike in fee and you have to pay 36000 for training and placement guidance and 4500 for dress and bag. Nearly 5 lacs will be the cost of study. I have been placed in Evosys Global with a package of 3.2 lacs.
Campus Life
There's a club phoenix in the college which is very active and conducts many tech fests and annual fest in April every year. I'm not a member of that club or participates in infests so don't have much knowledge about that. Every book of course is available in the library. There are also storybooks, magazines, and competitive books are available in the reading room which you also can borrow on some conditions. There's our departmental fest club Aiktaan which organizes a fest named Samhar. Mostly every department organizes its annual fest.
