Experience of my college

Netaji Subhash Engineering College is one of the well-known colleges in India. My main reason to choose this college was my interest in Biomedical engineering and it is one of the topmost colleges for this stream. The infrastructure is outstanding with a very big library along with a good placement ratio. Several companies like Amazon, Siemens, Medtronic, Wipro etc come for campusing. The teachers are very helpful and supportive in every aspect.

I am interested in the Medical field and wanted to explore it to a greater extent as a result of which I preferred to chose Biomedical engineering. My college is NAAC accredited and affiliated with MAKAUT and BME is NBA accredited. All the faculty members are well educated and very friendly and motivate and guide us in every possible way. They make us ready for job interviews as well as for higher studies. Our class strength was 30 but now due to an increase in demand, it has increased to 60.

Netaji Subhash Engineering college provides several training programs to make us habituated with the campusing procedure. Several hands-on training programs are held to provide technical guidance to the students. They try their level best to strengthen our skills so it becomes easy for us to crack the interview. The biomedical engineering department also allows the student to take hospital training to get a good idea about medical science and its developing technologies.

Almost all the students are well placed every year with a few remaining who are keen to pursue higher studies. The students are eligible to sit for the campusing interviews from the 6 semesters only. Several well known reputed companies like TCS (being the mass recruiter), Cognizant, Wipro, Philips, Siemens, Medtronic visit our college. They provide a very good package starting from 2.5 lacs to 15 lacs. The college provides placement to almost 90 - 95 % of the students. I am more interested in the research field and thereby I will opt for higher studies and do Mtech by cracking the gate examination.

The college fees are 84000 per year which is quite affordable and reasonable. TFW system is there for the required ones. The college authority never pressurises any student for the semester fees and gives sufficient time and cooperation with the students.

The campus is very big and well decorated. The atmosphere of the college is very peaceful. The college not just provides academic but also allows the student to follow their passion. Several clubs like Phoenix which provides technical guidance, an Eco-Cultural club for cultural programs and a sports club work together to provide the students with all kinds of extracurricular activities. College fests like Prelude for freshers, Mesmerizer, technical fests like Avenir and Avahan and departmental fests like Sriti, the homecoming where we get a chance to interact with our beloved seniors, Agaman for the newcomers etc are organized by the students. The college authority guides and encourages the students to organize the fests. We have a very big library with an enormous collection of books to enrich our knowledge. The classrooms are well equipped with modern technologies and well ventilated.

I got admission to this college with my Wbjee rank. An interview was held where I was asked about my reason to take this course and my future plans and aim in life. The complete admission procedure was very fair and completely based on talent.
