The college is very good in terms of education, placements and cultural part too. The only negative thing being the location. The college authorities make sure that the students face no issues throughout the entire academic year. The college has a specialised anti-ragging committee so as to avoid the ragging in the campus. The college has ED-CELL for entrepreneurship promotion in the campus. Besides that the college has an active tech club, Phoenix and a Cultural club, ECO CULTURAL CLUB, too. Each and every year there's a fest be it tech or cultural fest, the former being AVENIR and the later is MESMERIZER. There's a ROTARACT club too inside the campus for the NSS promotion amongst the students. Talking about our department APPLIED ELECTRONICS AND INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERING (AEIE), the facilities ensure a smooth teaching learning process and beyond syllabus knowledge is also passed. The faculties are extremely good and the facilities mainly the labs are well maintained.

Talking about this course, aeie, I chose this so as to enhance my skills and interests in the field of instrumentation. modern-day instrumentation needs electronics to run it, so the curriculum is well shaped by makaut. the course mainly includes the fields of biomedical instrumentation, IoT, ai, embedded systems, control systems, sensors and transducers, analog electronics, digital electronics, telemetry, measurement systems. A detailed overview of communications is also included in the curriculum. the faculties are extremely helpful and pass good knowledge of the curriculum. they also help us be responsible and good citizens of our nation.

The college offers numerous internship opportunities with world-class organizations. This year students were sent to TCS, CTS, WIPRO, BRITANNIA, TRACTEBEL, CAPGEMINI for internships mostly being software associates and in core sectors, the students were given the role of observers. As an outcome of the internship opportunities, students become corporate-ready im terms of skills and experience.

The campus placements are really good. The students become eligible to seat for placements right after the 6th semester or 3rd year. Many companies came to this year namely TCS, CTS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, TRACTEBEL, JOHNSON CONTROLS, CAPGEMINI, etc. Around 450 offers are given to date. The highest package being 12lakhs per annum and the average being 4lakhs per annum. After Btech I'm planning to join aviation as a commercial pilot.

The fee structure is almost the same as any other private engineering college in Kolkata under MAKAUT, around 4 lakhs in 4 years. The college offers Tuition Fee Waiver to economically backward people. Students are sent to internships under reputed companies like TCS, CTS, BRITANNIA, etc. The campus jobs are plenty. Many students are offered 2 to 3 jobs this year.

Campus life here is extremely good. The college has a tech club namely Phoenix which organizes one of the biggest tech fests in Kolkata namely AVENIR. There's a cultural club as well which organizes a bedizening and mesmerizing fest namely MESMERIZER, where the likes of Arjun Chakraborty, Madhumita Sarkar, TRAP BAND, Stebin Ben, ECLIPSE band came last year. Sports events are organized frequently by the sports club. The college has its own ground outside the campus. The classrooms are well maintained and airy. Apart from all these many departments organize DEPARTMENTAL FESTS, too, the biggest one being AEIE's SAMHAR.
