Remarks
The college has an excellent and experienced faculty. The crowd is amazing. Although the campus may be a little small compared to some other colleges, you get to enjoy every bit of college life here. You get to experience a friendly and welcoming environment. The admission process is simple, if you meet the college merit requirements ( Usually around 95-97%), you can just apply for it and your form will be approved within a week subject to you meet all the requirements. I preferred this college because of its location (Netaji Nagar, near INA) which has amazing markets, its crowd and the faculty. It comes under the top 10 Delhi University Colleges for commerce, which was also a deciding factor.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I have an interest in accountancy and business. So, it was most suitable for me. The faculty is great. We have very experienced and helping professors, which give their 100% in teaching. All the faculty members are well qualified with few even having PhDs, which is amazing. The term exams went smoothly, without any delay or hindrance. But remember to do study at this college as it's not easy to pass, which is a good thing in my opinion.
Placement Experience
The placements here are good. Many big companies like EY, Deloitte, PWC recruits from our college. The average package is around 3.5 lacs and the highest package was 10 lacs pa. Almost all the students were placed. The faculty and the placement cell helped many students to bag good packaged.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the study is very less as compared to those expensive private colleges. There is no fees hike policy. The college provides a lot of scholarships, financial assistance opportunities through various webinars, events happening every 2 weeks. It also provides many summer internships in companies like Nestle, EY.
Campus Life
DCAC conducts the best fest all over DU. The annual fest is Ambrosia. Dcac invites many top singers and actors in its fest like Mankirt, Hardy Sandhu etc. There are ample books in the libraries to meet everyone's requirements. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated. There are many social and clubs to join like the cultural society, finance society, commerce society and many more. It also conducts many competitions and extracurricular activities for its students to enhance their cultural development.
