Course Curriculum Overview

2

I got my course by mistake beacuse of filling a bit wrong prefernce sheet. The curriculum is really doomed and needs to change, 7 subjects each sem, doesn't make any sense, 90 marks end sem paper, 70 internal making grand total of 160, making life hectic. The college should be like student friendly cause this is the time when students are going out of the bubble and have to fo eca and you are just stopping him by doing these things. The teaching methods are good but the curriculum is bad . They should go for grand total 100 consiting of 50 theory: 50 intrnal. Update the curriculum regularly and teach those things that are useful in real world not some fuvcked up bullshit things.

Internships Opportunities

1

there are internship opportunties availiable at the time of placements in my college. i mean stipend is offten based on the company, role , etc. the average tipend would be 15k. some comapnies are kpmg, pechaan, etc

Placement Experience

3

my college provides internships and jobs at the end of each year, they bring about 50 companies and all students are eleigble, they have to fill forms for registration and then when the companies come they have to go for interview, where the hr are sitting of that company, if they wish to apply

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is 1 time payement per year, In 1 year i.e. 2024-25 it was 13300 and in 2 year i.e. 2025-26 was 12300 something. There is each semster a exam form feees which is around 1500 depending upon the subjects chosen. The fees of my bachmates are similar to me, if there is differnece, it would not be more than 1k-2k. I don't know about scholarships but probably there would be scholarships for 9+ cgpa students.

Campus Life

4

There are lots of annual fest and sub annual fest held in my college. various scoieties organise them, but in this session the principal of our college has kind of banned everything and that's hampring the eca of the college. The libarary is has a vast variety and accessible to all. The fcailities and tech are good in classes like smartboards in some classes, projector in each class. Sports and eca are okay in the college. The student run societies impact students by interacting them with real life scenarios and getting them a bit prepared for the future.

Hostel Facilities

2

there is no hostel in my college. Though there is pg facilities availiable near my college which is know as Satya. the menu has varity, the food quality is good, and its pocket freindly which is great for students.

Admission

i did't choose this college, i got this. though my college is preety great - the faculty makes the college even great, they are really interactive, easy to go, understanding and does not pressurize students as they also want us to get out of the bubble. The admission process goes through cuet ug, then make preference list , then goes the cut offs and 3 rounds are there for admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty is amazing, i mean they are very knowlegable, understanding, and easy to go people. The ratio would be 35:1. The evs faculty is bad especially maharana sir, i mean who fails studnets in internals in evs for just not attending his classes which are in afternoon 2:45 pm. The schedule is good to go, mid sem have no datesheet, they just happen mostly at the end of the semster and according to the studnets as teacher asks there availability to attend before.

Interview Experience

1

There are no gd, interviw or written test for admission. The CSAS portal handles the admission. students are accepted based on the cuet ug marks followed by 3 rounds on csas protal, students get colleges based on there prefernce sheet, marks and cut offs.

Night Life

1

my college opens at 8 am and closes at 5:30 pm. In this timing you can do anything you want pretty much. There is a small gym in my college. the caferteria is good, pocket friendly, value for money and the taste is also okay. Hangout places would be mini nearby college. the roof of the cafateria.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
