Remarks
I chose this college because it has a good name across West Bengal and also has produced good results. The admission process is the same as other colleges. You need to take all the required documents along with your bank card and the rest of the procedure will be told/guided by the official authority.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Applied Electronics and Instrumentation because of its increasing demand in today's world. The faculty of this department is efficient and knowledgeable. All the teachers are highly qualified and mostly hold a PhD degree. Teachers are helpful and will try their best to help you clear your doubts.
Placement Experience
After the completion of 6th sem students become eligible for placement and companies start visiting the campus. Some major companies that visit are TCS, LTI, Thought works, Cognizant, Capgemini, Byjus, etc. The highest package offered was 10-12 lacs by Byjus this year and the average package is 3.5lac. 70-80% of students get placed every year. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good job in the software industry.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of this college are very less if you compare it with other private institutions. Also, there are some scholarship facilities provided and you can also get Financial Assistance like TFW. There are different types of prestigious companies that visit the campus every year and recruit a lot of students. Some of the major companies that are the heart of the colleges are TCS, Thought works, Cognizant, Byjus, etc.
Campus Life
The annual tech fest of our college is Avenir organized in the month of Feb in which you can take part in different types of competitions that are organized. Libraries are well equipped with different kinds of books and also we have a digital library in which you can sit and study on a computer. The college has many different type of clubs among which the 2 main tech clubs are DSC by Google and Phoenix the official club of NSEC. I was a part of DSC and the experience was quite good. You get to attend different seminars, meet industry-level persons, and get to talk to them.
