Netaji Subhash Engineering College provides you with a broad atmosphere of exploring yourself. There are various courses to choose from and a strong teaching faculty that helps you to enhance your capabilities. The admission process is very lucid and cool. Along with curricular activities, the college provides a wide range of extracurricular activities, shaping you as a person in total.
Course Curriculum Overview
Science is a subject that has always fascinated me. To be more precise I've always been interested in electronics and instrumentation and that's why I chose this course. I guess in a world like today where life runs on electronic devices, this is a great field to work in. Now when it comes to the teaching faculty of the college, most of them are PhD graduates. They are highly experienced teachers with innovative teaching skills. The faculty: student ratio is 1:30, which I think is well enough. The college is extremely strict with its schedule. All the examinations are always conducted on time. The question papers are of moderate difficulty level and the examination process is completely fair for each and every student.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for campus placements as soon as they enter their 4th year of Btech. Various companies visit the campus like TCS, Byjus, Infosys, etc, and offer good job opportunities. The highest package that has been offered till now is 12lacs per annum whereas the average package is 4 Lacs per annum. Also, the on-campus selection percentage of students is 80% which is good. As far as things are concerned with me, I wish to do a job in my field after getting my degree. Right now I'm not planning for further studies. My main objective is to get a good job after college.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no scholarships provided at NSEC. In case of financial problems, one can take a loan from banks. However, there is a campus selection for jobs that starts in August. Various companies visit the campus and select students according to their selection criteria. The students go through various selection steps and the deserving ones get selected for the concerned jobs.
Campus Life
There are various fests held at NSEC. There is a Departmental Fest cum Alumni Meet that is held every year in the month of January and an Annual Fest that is held in the month of February. There are various tech-based activities for students to participate in as well as cultural programmes which create a vibrant atmosphere. Also there is Annual Sports Week held in the month of January. You will find different energy in the campus during that time. It's a whole competitive yet enthusiastic environment. Now there are several groups such as PHOENIX, DSC, etc which work towards social issues and provides you with an opportunity to work for the same.
