I was having the option to do Btech or Bsc and to secure a job in the private sector as well, I decided to opt for Btech. As, I had appeared for UPSEE, and got rank in counselling for admission in KIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS in EN branch, that is how only I took admission. Now talking about aspects of college, good infrastructure, social gatherings or events gives you an essential amount of exposure for the real world, whereas on other hand it is true somewhere that college has a deficit of academic environment may be due to academic policy by University or other reason. However no other choice, you are quite diligent.
Course Curriculum Overview
First and foremost, if the question is why did I choose this course then my answer is very straightforward it was just to get a job as a backup plan through campus placement, you can have your different one. The faculty and student ratio is not a matter to be discussed, as you will not have trouble in that but for sake of your inquiry, it is around 60:1. Faculty of the institute are well versed in their specific domain and up to par that is required in engineering, so don't bother with that. Now, coming to the frequency of exams then you will have to appear for two sessionals and pre-university exams then the University examination, not a big deal to score average marks in these.
Internships Opportunities
It is up to you whether you want to take assistance from a college or you want to do your own. It is up to you. If you do not have enough knowledge about the companies then you may choose assistance from the college.
Placement Experience
College provides ample opportunity to students to get placed in any company irrespective of their branch (applicable to only core branch students ). They can sit for software companies also. It is very ideal to say but the truth is that very few core companies visit college but it is not a thing to bother upon, adversely students who sit for core companies are not able to crack their recruitment exam so if you are competent then you do not have to bother on few numbers of companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee Structure is as follows below : For 1st year - 1,50,000 From the second year onwards -1,20,000 Yes, you may also get a scholarship if you lie in the category of economically underprivileged, I think the bar is like,your family income must be below of 2,00,000 with certain proofs required.
Campus Life
Annual fest is something that you would not take chance to miss, tech fest is also quite amazing. You will not feel low with the College library, Sports and extracurricular activities are an essential part of college and students are quite enthusiastic in that part even than in academics.
Interview Experience
There is an interview , if selected in merit on basis of pcm percentage . You would be asked certain questions from each sections, not much big deal if you have revised your only basic concepts of integration differentiation like that.
