Remarks
I got admitted to my college back in September 2020. I got to the college through WBJEE counselling and during admission, the college accepted the previous board marks and some legal documents. The faculty of our college is very supportive and have a big library with a wide collection of books.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose IT because I wanted to pursue a Computer. Our college has a huge faculty who are extremely supportive with approximately 60 students per batch. Faculty members are extremely supportive and they teach very nicely in lucid language. After each semester we are provided with a faculty feedback form where we can point out our experience with the teacher. We get to attain regular quiz almost every week. Initially, the quizzes are easy and slowly the difficulty increases.
Internships Opportunities
Company's like Microsoft offer internship opportunities, and then based on the performance striped is awarded. These are usually 2-3 month internships which most of the students can avail themselves with a chance of getting employment in the company in future.
Placement Experience
In our college students become eligible for placement from the third year. We are offered several internship chances. During Placement companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, TATA Motors, Intel, Virtusa and so on. The highest salary package offered is 10-12 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, the average is 3.5 LPA. Approximately 80% of students get placement. After completing my BTech degree I am hoping of completing MTech and so on.
Fees and Financial Aid
Regarding the fees structure, I feel that it is the usual and expected fees for any private college. The college allows several scholarships. Although I was unable to avail any due to cast, annual income or qualifying exam marks.
Campus Life
Unfortunately due to the existing covid situation, we have not much chance to visit our college. Most of our knowledge regarding the campus is based on what we saw on the internet or heard of from our seniors. There are a number of social groups and clubs with a huge variety of activities for us to participate in. The activities are held very frequently. The college also conducts inter-school sports tournaments, with some international level tournaments as well. There are groups like Rotaract, ed cell, activity cell, phoenix and many others that are run by students. Before each event, the members of the group receive information regarding the event.
