Remarks

Hansraj College is one of the most dynamic colleges of Delhi University. As it has the best faculty and a very supportive crowd which helps to you enhance your abilities. Hansraj is located in the North Campus. The main spotlight of this college is the alumni (SRK, Ran Vijay, Anurag Kashyap and many more). And lastly the LP area is the most famous spot of the whole college. Since I took admission in 2020 everything was online . Steps are: 1. registration along with registration fee 2. You'll wait for the cut off's to come and you match your cutoff according to the required criteria. I had to calculate best of 4 for Bcom hons. 3. Once matched You'll apply to that particular college and after certification verification You'll get a payment link through which if you pay the fees. In every you get notified by the college through mail. All this would be done on the official Delhi University website i.e. Du.ac.in Since everything is only I don't think I should highlight any cons.

I'm right now pursuing Bcom hons as I'm from commerce background and I find it really useful. Most of the professors have at least completed their PG and they are really we'll qualified. They are really friendly and they teach really well. Exams till now we're conducted timely and with proper implementation. No student faced any problem except the network issues(due to OBE) that isn't of professors control. Paper is mostly of moderate level so it's quite easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

There are plenty of internship opportunities in the university. It's just that you should be able to grab every opportunities out there. Some companies like my captain , fantastic and so many really provide you great experience.

Placement Experience

Since I'm in first year I don't have any idea how placements work but yeah as much as I heard from my seniors mostly everyone gets place here and last year the highest package was 20.5 LPA so you all can easily imagine how cool the placements are gonna be.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite moderate the problem only lies with the accommodation especially for non Delhi people. About scholarships I don't have much idea But every notice regarding the scholarships are posted on the college website i.e.. Hansrajcollage.ac.in.

Campus Life

Since I've been attending every via online it's not possible to share my experience because I haven't attended any. But I'm confident that everything is just amazing Society experience, online program's and everything is really been amazing so far.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
