Now the fire technology is the growing sector of ENGINEERING. Nowadays if we have to deal with the changing Atmosphere then we have to put our engineering knowledge with the help of the biological knowledge There are 300 students in our department and teacher Student ratio is 15:1 All the facilities here are qualified with post-doctoral degree The term exams and results are very timely here and it's quite difficult to pass the test if you aren't that much attentive in the class.

Many companies like Amazon, Flipkart , mercedes, visa, American express cards, maestro, TCS, Microsoft offers internship when the students are there in their pre-final year for the posts of project intern, data scientist intern, manager intern, etc.

The students are eligible for placement in the last semester of their courses. The campus placement here is very good. Companies like microsoft, Google, Apple, BMW ,TCS, Facebook, Amazon, Flipkart etc. come here for placement each year. Main jobs available here is in the coding sector.Few core jobs are also available. Min.salary- 10 lakh/ annum max.salary - 46 lakh/annum(in India) 1.2 crore/annum(outside India) 97% registered students get placed during the campus placement. I am planning for a Ph.D. after my b.tech+m.tech dual degree is completed in 2023.

The campus life here is very fascinating where you can perform the sides of your interest. Many societies such as - quiz, swimming, dramatics , western music, film making, photography dancing, poetry, debating, robotics, race car making etc. are formed and maintained by the students of IIT KHARAGPUR. There are 23 halls of residence in the huge 2300 acres campus of IIT Kharagpur which takes part in different sports teams during the general championship, inter IIT also takes place every year. There is also a gymkhana, one big playground (tata sports complex), one stadium (Gyan Ghosh stadium), an international class swimming pool And AIIMS like the hospital is available as part of the campus. There are many fests which are organized by the students such as spring fest, kshitiz, great step,biotsav etc. The most popular fests are spring fest (cultural fest), kshitiz (Asia's largest techno-management fest). There is a huge multistorey central library available in the main building of the campus

The rooms and the bathrooms are quite good and neat and clean. Workers are there to clean the floors and bathrooms and rooms from time to time. The meal quality of IIT Kharagpur is very good,they provide four times food every day (breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner).. grand dinners are often held where you can eat several cuisines as much as you can else almost everyday fish/egg/meat is available to eat and the breakfast is very good especially the chole bhature of Sunday There 23 halls of residence (16 for boys , 7 for girls) each and every student of IIT Kharagpur is bound to stay in the hostels and the hostel rooms are allocated automatically in the admission process. The fees of the hostel are included in the per semester fees
