Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I'm quite interested in the Operations field of PGDM, especially in the supply chain sector. Talking about the qualification of the faculty is that they are experts in their respective fields. All the professors have done their Ph.D.'s and have more than 20 years of experience in the corporate sector before joining BIMTECH.
Internships Opportunities
Basically, startup companies come for internships at BIMTECH, stipend varies to 5-10k on an average per month. and at BIMTECH it is compulsory to do a 2-month internship at the end of the 1st year. Projects vary according to your course, as generally marketing student gets field sales and research projects, finance students gets insurance and accounting information analysis kinds of projects.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Gartner, EY, Aditya Birla Finance, Volvo, Safexpress visited for placements. The average package is approx 5-7 lakhs as per. There is 100% of students getting placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are quite high in this college but I think it's worth it. Talking about the scholarship. BIMTECH provides Late Basant Birla Scholarship to students according to their CAT scores which is about 2Lakh per student and also provides scholarships to semester toppers.
Campus Life
There are several societies at BIMTECH which have their respective fests & Infrasture of college is completely environment friendly. The library is quite large which has almost all kinds of books and journals. Talking about clubs there is finance, UFE, quizzes, etc kinds of clubs in college. Sports like volleyball, table tennis, cricket are all available. Talking about extra-curricular activities, respective clubs conduct their events like quiz competition, business idea competition, etc. Amenities in the classroom are quite satisfactory.
Hostel Facilities
Facilities provided at BIMTECH hostels are very good, as they provide a single room to each student with air-conditioning built in it. The meal is quite good, as the menu involves strict vegetarian dishes.
Interview Experience
BIMTECH does PI session & written test for admission. The topic I get for the written test was India's diplomatic relations with China. The Interview questions were related to your job experience, your education, and some sort of general knowledge questions.
