Remarks
After researching a lot about college I came to know that Gargi College of Delhi University is one of the renowned colleges for science scream mainly, it has got good NIRF ranking and NAAC A+ rank. Also after my research, I came to know that faculties of mathematics in Gargi College are from very good universities and with 10+ years of experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since I was very keen about mathematics so I opted for this course and I must say it was all worth it. In our batch, we have a total of 50 students and around 4 -5 faculties to help us out with different subjects. The faculties are highly qualified from reputed universities like IITs, DU, JNU, etc.
Internships Opportunities
We have been offered a lot of internship opportunities but not always with a good stipend and sometimes without any stipend as well but yes their placement cell is really good to create opportunities at least.
Placement Experience
The placements are good but not for every program like they do offer to sit in the placements for every course students but the companies which come for recruitment are mainly looking for students from commerce background. I am not saying that people from other courses do not get placed at all but if you're from a commerce background there is a high chance for you to get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The best part about Delhi University is their fee structure, so talking about my course all over it cost just around 30k for the entire journey. There were few scholarships as well which I wasn't aware of but one should surely check before admission because it's really helpful. We get so many companies to visit our campus like KPMG, Delloite, E&Y, etc but mainly they focus on B.Com students.
Campus Life
Coming to the very interesting part that is our cultural fests and societies, so Gargi has got the best western dance society and its fest is also very famous all over the university. The amenities and infrastructure is not very good, they have got a small campus and sometimes during fests coming around it's a hassle to attend college. Gargi is also very active when it comes about sports activities but again we face a lack of amenities as I was interested in badminton but there is no badminton court in the college.
