We receive good amount of internship offers.

I always wanted to study in a top college of Delhi University and then I cleared the cutoff of GARGI. My college is great but the only bad thing is that it's not located in the main campus, it's a little far from the campus & nearly PGs are very costly. I got admission on merit basis and GARGI comes under top10 colleges of DU. That's why I chose this college over all the others. Our admission process started in Aug due to Covid last year and our online class started in November. Teachers are smart and cooperative.

I am pursuing bcom hons from Gargi. College faculty is good. I always liked commerce related subjects and accountancy mainly that's why I chose this subject and also placements of bcom hons was one of the deciding factors. Placement of bcom hons and eco hons are best in Delhi university. Both are the most reputed courses of Delhi university. Also the cutoff of both these courses are sky high in university of Delhi. All are teachers are PhD holders and really talented. They regularly take tests and everything. Active participation in class is mandatory and I enjoy it.

Lots of internship opportunities are provided to us. We receive internship offers everyday. We have an official group and we get a lot of internship opportunities . First year students generally get unpaid internship offers and they start getting paid internship offers after learning skills and getting experience.

Students can apply for placements from 5th semester only. Lots of reputed companies visit our campus. Highest package last to last year was 19 lakhs(2019) I don't know the highest package of 2020 but placements were good. I am planning to pursue MBA after graduation and will give a try and will sit for the placements as well.

Our fees is really less and affordable. A student can pay the fees even with part time jobs . Also, there are scholarship programs for students who are poor. Mine is 12000 per year that is just 1000 per month(Bcom honors). So I guess anyone can afford it. We get all the facilities and our fees doesn't define the quality of teaching, opportunity and Environment provided to us by the college. Ours is a government funded college that's why our fees is so less.

Campus and social life of GARGI is just great. I have heard this from my seniors but never experienced because I am a first year student and I never went to college, just attending online classes from a year. We do have E-library and virtual societies and virtual placement cell. Our college is really active in extra curricular activities even in the online mode. There are lots of societies, clubs. Our dance society (nazakat) is the best dance society of Delhi university and our Marketing society is the 2nd best in Delhi university. We have many reputed societies, our debate society is also very famous.
