Entrance Preview
I took the admission on the basis of my class 12th marks. The admission process was quite hectic at the time of my admission because the nothing was online. I took admission in this college because the infrastructure, the chemistry department's professors were good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. Actually great, if you want to pursue higher degrees, but also you have to go out of your comfortable zone to get that goal. Like if you have chosen chemistry hons then be ready to do 4 hours practicals , be ready to deal with the acids and other dangerous chemicals on the daily basis, otherwise you will regret your decision.
Internships Opportunities
No. I didn't get provided with the internships. I guess this is the only area where my college is not so up to date. But i do know some fellow college students who get internships but from outside the college.
Placement Experience
I guess, very little or none opportunities in case of placements or jobs. Since I belong to the science department I can only tell about my area. We do mot get any jobs or even placements after the college. My classmates or other friends, they are going to try for the higher studies because of very few job opportunities in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The session 2014-2015. the fees were low like very feasible and affordable. But since last sessions the fees is continuously increasing. The fee was between 6000-14000 rupees for the session 2014-2015.
Fees and Financial Aid
No.I wasn't get availed of any scholarship from the college. And since my course is also not any professional course, I wasn't eligible for any loan facility too.
Campus Life
The college organises many events throughout the year.The college is so green. The college sports ground is also good.The lab is good too.the one thing i like the most that that you won't be able to determine the senior or freshers. the college campus is literally ragging free.
Alumni/Alumna
No. I don't think the seniors or the alumni network are any helpful to the students.Because I guess the college is still in the evolving process right now.
Exam Structure
Yes, the labs are very frequent. But the theory papers are very chilled out. The semester exam system is better than the yearly exam system atleast that's what I and my fellows thinks.The practical papers are do hectic.
Faculty
The college's chemistry department faculty is very good. All the professors are very helpful in the classes and the labs. They give their best to the students. Provide us with the notes, and previous years papers and even tell us about what's happening outside in the world.
