Review of Symbiosis college of arts and commerce

The course curriculum is pretty good as there are not a lot of topic to study and the exams are not much difficult which is pretty much of a relaxation for the students. But the marking is pretty strict so you need to be careful with your answers. There are mid-sems of 20 marks each subject which are online in MCQ form. Also assignments of 20 mark each for every subject. Then there's the semester exams of 60 marks for each subject. Total the marking is done within 100 marks and GPA is provided.

Placements and job opportunities are plenty in our college especially if you choose banking and costing honours for specialization. Though the other honours do provide you with some decent job opportunities. Yes the college does provide internships if you are in 2nd year.

Events celebrated in our college are such as tedtalks, global entrepreneurship event, model united Nations, business related events and also other events such as fresher's party, traditional day, college fest too.

The fee structure is pretty feasible as it's around 20000 per year for bachelor of commerce and if you choose honours you need to pay extra 20000 for the second and third year respectively. There's also ACCA which a student can opt for with bachelor's of commerce for which they need to pay 1,30,000 per year which is expensive considering bcom.

College does not provide any scholarship or loan facilities for the normal students but does provide some relaxation on fees for the lower caste students residing in maharashtra. If you want any scholarships, then you can apply in the government websites which are listed in our college notice board.

There are library, computer labs, placement cell and different clubs such as centre for innovation and entrepreneurship, centre for skill development, National social service etc which are very active and beneficial for the students taking part.

I haven't opted for hostel facilities but the hostel infrastructure and facilities is pretty good which I have heard from my friend who live in the hostel. The food and amenities are pretty good such as washing machine, AC if you want, food etc.

The alumni network is pretty good as they provide you with information for the future plans on further education on the field of commerce. If you contact them, they will ask you for your plans in future and curate the best option to pursue in future.

First we have to submit our application form online and send the printed application to the college through post. Then if you're selected, you need to reach the college for admission in the specified time with all the documents such as 12th marksheet, passing certificate etc.

The faculty is very good to be honest. The teachers are not much strict and pretty friendly. They help you with how to study for the exams and score good marks if you ask them personally. Though the marking is very strict but if you ask them they will tell you how to write in order get marks
