Bikram Phukan's Review On Kaziranga University - [KU], Jorhat

I got admission in my college on the basis of Assam CEE score which was 103/200.I was not willing to go away from my home to study that's why I took admission in Assam Kaziranga University which is only 15 kms away from my home.

The course curriculum of my college is very good and was designed in such a way that every student can learn all the subjects and topics very easily without putting much effort. In simple words it is very convenient and standard one. One can score very high if he/she studies thoroughly without much efforts.

Our college never provided any internships in college or arranged such things somewhere else. No stipends were given to students during the entire programme. But our college arranged free of cost coaching for gate and placement interviews.We also got certificates by completing various courses in our college only.

Many of our students including got placed in good companies through campus interview. Many good companies came to our college and selected many students through campus interview. The average package provided was something between 2L-3.25L per annum. Some of the major that came to our college are TCS, Wipro, Capegmini etc.

Many cultural events are organised in our college. The fresher's day, Annual sports day, cultural night and the most important convocation. On fresher's day the seniors arrange function in the college campus and they perform in the events.

The fee structure of is very feasible and students also get scholarships based on their academic performance. My college fees was 5.6 Lacs for the whole B.tech programme. I had to pay 1.25 Lacs per annum plus 5% increment yearly and admission fees was Rs.30,000/- which is one time only.

Loan facility is there which provided through State Bank of India. Scholarships are also there. The meritorious students are given concession on their college fees like 30% for branch-wise toppers and it is given accordingly based on their HS score.

The exams were conducted frequently to test what we had learnt from our regular classes. 3 major exams are conducted i.e 1st and 2nd mid term exams and the final semester end exams are conducted.

The faculty of our college are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. They passed from one of the best colleges in India and abroad. They are always ready to give their best to the students.
