Good aspects: Excel Learning, Good certification courses available for all specialization, Live Projects opportunities. Bad aspects: No Industrial Visit, Useless 2 Credits subjects such as Experimental Learning and Leadership Ability, Poor management and rules. Interview Date: 15 April 2020. Admission process: Due to the pandemic, my interview was online. The interview started with my introduction. Then an extempore topic was given. After that few basic interview questions were asked. BIMTECH was the best among all colleges in which I was selected.

PGDM is the best course of BIMTECH and is quite better than its other courses. Students in college are around 860. Faculties are 60. Around 75% of faculties are PhD qualified. The teaching method of 60% of faculties is not good. Term exams are accurate on the date mentioned in the curriculum. It is easy to pass.

Almost 80% of the companies that came for internship offers were small startups. Marketing students were given mostly sales profiles and strategy making. Finance students were given various roles such as equity research, financial modelling, statement analysis, accounting nuances, etc.

Placement starts from the fifth trimester. Top companies which visit the campus are Amazon, KPMG, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Maruti, Accenture, Gartner, HDFC Bank, etc. These companies take less than 5 students. The highest domestic package is 18 LPA and the average package is 8.13 LPA. More than 90% of students are placed. After getting an MBA degree I want a job.

The fees policy is the worst. They take extra money unnecessarily. From August to December, there was no student in the hostel, but then also they took the hostel and mess fees from each student. Total fees including accommodation and mess are 1548000 for PGDM, 1498000 for PGDM (International Business) & 1248000 for PGDM (Retail Management) & PGDM (Insurance Business Management). Admission Merit scholarship of 200000 to each student who has scored more than 85 percentile in CAT or XAT. Academic Merit Scholarship of 50000 who scores more than 9 TGPA in a trimester & of 25000 to those who scored 8.5 TGPA in a trimester.

PRATIBHA is the annual fest of BIMTECH conducted in the month of September. Many books are available of all subjects of all specialization in the library. Classrooms are good with AC, Camera and projector facilities. There is just one badminton court, no cricket ground, no football ground, and a very small basketball court on campus. Students can play or walk on the campus only till 11:00 PM. There are many WhatsApp groups run by students.

Rooms are good with AC. There is a cluster and each cluster has 4 individual rooms. TV & Refrigerator are also available in each cluster. The meal is served four times a day breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. The meal quality is good. Different breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner are served every day. The fee of the hostel is Rs. 9500 per month which every student should pay. Mess charge varies upon your availability in the hostel but Rs. 1500 have to pay by each student.

There was extempore in my condition as my interview was online due to the pandemic. My extempore topic was "Why MBA is done only in English". Other important topics for GD and extempore are Bank Merger is good or bad, Union Budget 2021, Is FDI good for India, Universal Basic Income is good or bad, Benefits of eCommerce over retail stores etc. Eligibility to apply is a minimum of 50% in X, XII, and graduation. For PGDM & PGDM International Business, CAT and XAT cutoff is 70, and CMAT cutoff is 95 for PGDM and 90 for PGDM International Business. For PGDM Retail Management and PGDM Insurance Business Management, CAT and XAT cutoff is 65, and CMAT cutoff is 85. Selection is done by combining GD, PI, Academic Record, Work Experience, and Extracurricular achievement. I prepare for admission through IMS GD-PI coaching.
