Remarks

I have chosen my college after having a tour in several colleges. I have chosen my college because there are many alumnus known to me of my college who were successfully placed in different positions in many MNCs. They referred my to get admission in my college. But not only that when I went to my college and have a tour in the campus I was impressed by the lab, workshop facilities and when I interacted with my professors I was very much convinced that I can have a quality education for my course. And last but not the least the environment, the environment of my college campus is very much peaceful and ragging free. Students can have total concentration in their studies in this peaceful environment. And there is also very good playground and hostel, canteen facilities in my college campus. So these were the factors which instigated me to get admission in my college. But if I have to mention something bad about my college I would have to say our professors are too much strict about the classes and never let us bunk the classes. But I must say CollegeDunia.com really helped me because after having the tour in my college before admission I searched my college name in CollegeDunia.com and I got several reviews of students who read in my college which really helped me to take my decision to get admission in my college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

In my college education and knowledge is always considered as the most important for all the course in my college. I choose Electrical Engineering because I wanted to gain the knowledge of Core Engineering and also I was enthusiastic in Coding and I think an Electrical Engineer can have both the knowledge of Core Engineering as well as knowledge of software, informatics. So I have chosen my course and I think whole getting a job an Electrical Engineer can have both the options for core companies and software companies. In my college teachers are really kind and helpful. Approximately we have the student-teacher ratio of 10:1. And they really help us not only to score marks in exam but also how to be more practical and how can we apply our knowledge in practical fields. They always clear our doubt arranging extra classes also.If I have to say about our term exams I must say the exams are not that much tough to score high marks. Usually the questions come in our term exams are conceptual and mathematical. If any student read and understand any topic it will not be so hard to pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities

No I have not opted for any internship till now.

Placement Experience

3

Every year around 20 companies came in our college for giving placement like TCS, Infosys, Hind Rectifier etc. From the 7th semester students become eligible for placement. The average package offered to an eligible student is Rs. 1,80,000 /- per annum. And around 60% students get placed in different companies.I have planned to get a job after getting my B.Tech degree and then I want to parallelaly complete by MBA degree.

College Events

Our college campus life is great and we really enjoy our college life. There are indoor games room where we spend our free time by playing carroms, table tennis etc games. We have a big playground where we play after our college hours. Not only that we have a small gym in our campus where we can make ourselves fit.We have a very big library consist of different kind of books with many copies so anyone can take any book for their purpose. We have a digital library where all kind of e-books are available and students can access there and do their works. Every year our cultural feast named 'Refreshko' arranged by students in our college and our tech-feast also conducted every year where student can show their cultural and technical skills respectively. So I must say our college life gave us not only hard question papers, projects, assignments but also gave us happiness to free our mind.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college doesn't provide any scholarship but they arrange Education loans for students. So students can avail the education loan from there but they can also arrange it separately.

Campus Life

3.5

We have a campus of 6 acres and we have 2 green fields in our campus. Our college always encourage us to take part in sports. Every year annual sports meet, Inter-departmental Football tournament, Cricket, Vollyball, Badminton Tournament conducted in our college. We have a library consist of thousands of books from where students take books. Students in our college need not to buy books from outside because each and every kind of books are available in our library and they can take it showing their Library card. We also have a digital library where all kind of e-books are available and students can access there and do there essential works. We have 3 academic buildings of 4 storeyed buildings in our college campus and 2 canteens, 2 workshops. There are 2 different hostels for boys and girls separately within our campus. Our labs and workshops are well equipped and very modernised so we feel good when we work in our labs and workshops. The thing which really make our campus attractive is the greenery of our campus. There are different kinds of flower plants and large trees also in our campus which creates a great atmosphere in our college campus. And our college campus is enabled with high-speed Wi-Fi accessible by everyone within the campus.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are two different hostels for boys and girls separately within our campus. The Boys' hostel is 3 storeyed and the Girls' hostel is 2 storeyed and well equipped. In a room 3 students are allowed but if anyone want they can afford a room where only 2 students can accommodate so the fees structure is different for both the options. In our canteens the food quality is good and healthy. Students usually have their Tiffin and lunch from there. There is also have option for taking rent of PG which are at a 5 to 10 mins distant from our college campus. But those are out of the campus.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
