Remarks

Although the academic years didn't bring enough exposure to multiple resources the college didn't fail to provide multiple learning platforms during the pandemic. That is the only good thing I have experienced throughout my engineering. There is a bias towards different departments. Being an electrical engineering student I experienced huge to neglect.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

I found the faculty members especially from my department less interactive. Throughout my 4 years of engineering the faculty members left in the mid semesters. Some faculty members were well qualified but somewhere the college lagged behind in resources like labs etc.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

There are internship opportunities provided by the college however I didn't get any internship opportunities due to the pandemic. Online learning platforms were made available. I was able to enrol in some of the courses for free on platforms like Coursera.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 6th semester onwards students are exposed to platforms like cubes through which they can avail job opportunities. The packages range from 2 LPA to 4 LPA. For the IT and CSE roles it May range up to 5 LPA. There is a very less percentage of students from core branches getting placed however, there are opportunities for CSE, IT and ECE students.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees go on increasing every annual year which is quite obvious. There are scholarships available for the ones with low income. I didn't receive any such assistance. The college assists with placements providing multiple platforms to avail job opportunities. One such platform is cubed. I appeared for the WET on cubes and based on scores one can apply for the job opportunities. I sat for one placement drive with planet spark.

Campus Life

3

Every annual year fest & tech fest are conducted in the month of Feb-March. Due to the pandemic, I experience only two fest being held on campus. The library is all good with the relevant books & journal available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
