My college life was good and worth remembering. I had a good friend circle. We used to do all the stuffs a normal college student would do. Our college helped in meeting my friends whom I would savor for the rest of my life.

The college was affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela. The curriculum is quite obsolete. Although it does give you a basic idea of what needs to be studied to become an engineer. The exam structure is Semester based. So a 4 year course has 8 semesters. The grading scheme is a cumulative pointer based out of 10.

Placements are pretty good. Almost everyone gets a placement in one of the India's top IT companies. Extremely less or close to nil core companies come to the placement drive. All internships are voluntary and college does not provide any.

College conducts annual sports events such as football, cricket, basketball, volleyball. College conducts an annual festival where all the cultural, technical events take place. Students from all over Odisha are invited.

Since the college is a private one, the fees are a bit on the expensive side and at par with the other colleges of this tier. During my time the fees were around 1L per year. As compared to the amenities present during my time, the fees seemed expensive.

I did not avail any scholarship. I am not aware of any such scholarship/ loan facility provided by my college .

Good sport facilities. College provides good facilities for football, cricket, basketball and volleyball. Intra college tournaments are conducted across all years and across all fields. Inter college tournaments are also conducted where students from other colleges also participate.

No. I did not opt for hostel. What I have heard from my peers is that the hostel fees were around 40k per year where food was inclided. The hostel infrastructure was ok and students had to share the rooms. The hostel rooms were cramped up.

Yes. Our college has started an annual alumni meet. It conducts fun activities in the meet where all the current students and the alumni spend quality time in interacting. Also alumni network over various social media platforms are helpful.

There is an entrance exam that one needs to give in order to enroll in an engineering college in Odisha. The exam name is OJEE. After giving the examination, a merit list is published and based on that students can select their prospective college based on the merit list.

The faculties are okayish. Some of them alumni who took teaching as their profession. Their teaching style is obsolete. More focus is given to attendance than quality knowledge. Practical knowledge imparted was less and more of it were theoretical.
