I selected this college because it is the no 1 diploma college of west bengal and placement here is better than any other college, Addmission procedure is simple , i have to pass the entrance test and score a rank under 2000 to get a chance in this college, and the website is webscte.co.in
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose civil engineering because no a days mother trade have much more campusing than others, faculty is also very good, student ratio is 60:4, they are all qualified from renowned engineering university, exams are in time and the difficulty level depending on you study
Internships Opportunities
No i haven't opted for any internship but there are few internship like internshala, they recently offerd our students for internship
Placement Experience
After semester 5th they are eligible for placement, companies like l&t, itdc, tata Steel, tata power, mn dastur, and many more renowned companies came, more than 65% students get selected for their job
College Events
Life at the campus is preety much enjoyable, in August we have a freshers programs for new comers and in the month of may we have a fest, and in January we have a sports event, for books we have a library and a cheap shop
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees hike is not a issue here because it is a government college so fees are pretty much same, study cost is not much only 500 per semester, though i am currently last year student so didn't get a chance to apply for campusing, but companies like itdc, l&t corp,tata steel, tata power,mn dastur etc. they come every year in our college for campusing
Hostel Facilities
I have rented a pg, locality is very neat and clean and the local people are very helpful, and meal is included in the pg, and for hostels we have neat and clean rooms and washrooms
Admission
Yes i did face an entrance examination, which called jexpo- joint entrance examination for polytechnic, and i have to rank under 2000 for eligible to apply on this college
