Remarks
Mainly because the course I was searching was available here. The admission process was an easy one. I came to know about this college from a newspaper article. Also this college had an NBA accreditation which ensured a good placement in the future.
Course Curriculum Overview
I mainly choose this course because of the various job opportunities. At the beginning the ratio was 3:45 and now it has been 15:150. The faculty is generally highly qualified professionals and has good teaching efficiency. The exams are conducted regularly as per the KTU schedule.
Internships Opportunities
As a third year student I was able to do a 10 day internship program at KMML Kollam. We were also able to do many online courses under coursera. Due to the pandemic, we were not able to do many offline internship which could have been of much importance.
Placement Experience
Normally 7th and 8th semester students get an opportunity for placement interview. Software companies are the most visited. The highest package may comprise of 50,000 and on an average 25,000 is the salary offered by the companies. Generally 2-5 % students are assured of getting placements according to the information. I would love to get a job after the degree.
College Events
Saintgits is normally a student friendly campus. There are norammly many Seminars and functions taking place.The main attraction is the annual fest (Nakshatra), Technical fest, exhibition,etcThe annual meet and the tournament of cricket and football is also major attractions of students.There are also many clubs and groups. One important group is the SESA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As a self financing institution there are mainly Government seats, Management seats, NRI seats. Based on the result of school education there are scholarships.Also as per the government assigned scholarship there are further many scholarships available.
Hostel Facilities
The menu is normally prepared by the Hostel group members and the chef. The meal is of high quality comparing to other mess. The registration is normally done along with the admission to the college.
Admission
For an engineering student it is generally the KEAM result is considered primary for the admission process. And for the NRI seats normally the 10th and 12 results are considered.
