Remarks

I choose DTU because it is among the top colleges in India, It has a large campus, a very good academics faculty, very interesting labs. It has a very good placement records. Almost 90% of student get on campus placement every year. There are sports competitons for those who are good in sports. The DTU fest is the biggest fest of North India. It has very good societies that promote our skills. The bad aspects are the seats are being increasing every year due the which taking on campus placement is slightly tough. The fees got incremented every year even it is a govt. college.Admission process includes the entrance exam called Jee-Mains. One need to get under approx 25k rank to get admission in college for general students. The students get their college started from 1st August.I preferred this college over others because of the good placement opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Faculty is very knowledgeable. They clear every student doubt, provide extra classes. They help in the project work and plays an important role in that. Faculty Student ratio 100:1. Faculties qualification is M. Tech, PHD, MS. All are very good.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Companies that hire for internship is lower than placements. So only good CGPA and good skilled person get an internship. Tech companies provide Software Development role with 30-40k stipend. There is generally a test followed by interview to get an internship.

Placement Experience

5

Placement is excellent in DTU. Aprrox 100-150 companies visit every year. Almost 90% student get placements. The top placement record last year was 1.35 crore from Uber. 4th year students are eligible for placement. Average package is 6L. CGPA should be above 6 to get placement.

College Events

Campus life is very large and very beautiful. It has gym, sports complex Annual fest is called Engifest which is organized in Feb. Books are enough for every student in library. One can ever issue book for entire semester from book bank. Classroom are fully ventilated. Societies include IEEE etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My fees structure was 1.15L for 1st year, 1.45L for 2nd year, 1.60L for 3rd year and 1.8L for 4th year. One can get scholarship if they are financially weak by submitting their father income certificate for which tution fees will be refunded. I got job in Samsung Noida with 12L CTC.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facility is average. In first year there is a room for 2 people. later on one can get a seperate room. The hostel food is below average but one must be used to of it. Hostel is also quite far away from classrooms and entrance also. For registration you can register online.

Admission

There was only one competition exam called JEE mains. The syllabus is Physics, Chemistry, Maths. The syllabus is quite tougher than the 12th syllabus. I suggest everyone to take coaching from some institute to clear that exam. The person who gets rank under 25K get admission in college. There is no further GD or PI round.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
