Remarks

Admission to RGK is through neet exam under state and all India quota. RGK is not only famous for the academics but also for its student friendly atmosphere which helped the college to secure 11th rank in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are frequent which help to evaluate own knowledge. Though are not too hard to pass (in my views that could create pressure on students).Teachers are very student friendly and with their pg degrees or even being super specialists try to give their best to us to enhance oure knowledge.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

From the last semesters students gets stipend. They can work as interns and later as house staffs until they get a job in any other or in that medical college. Stipen is also given during pg courses

College Events

Student friendly.Seniors are very helpful. Teachers are also friendly. Senior junior relationship is very nice. Ragging free campus. Canteens provide good affordable food

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee hike may effect this course in later time but till now it's affordable. In every semester 4500 rs is the fee. Admission fees is also least, which kay vary time to time. Even the Hostel fees is so affordable that it helps students from all over the country with any financial condition experience best hospitality without tension.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are clean. All can feel home like atmosphere. The structure helps everyone to find a new family. The relationship between students grow along with their relationship with seniors.

Admission

No. There is no interview in my academic programme. The counselling is online and only based on the exams. No interview is included in the admission process

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

So I got admission in Rgkmch based on my AIR of 8107 in AIQ in open seat quota in 2023. I had placed RGKMCH in my preference list as it is one of the oldest medical institutions of India. It is located in a prime location in Kolkata. It has a good alumni network. Rg kar medical college hostel, education and college life review

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB. R.G.kar Medical college, The home for the Best Future Doctors.

You need to qualify for the NEET UG exam. With an Air of around Rs 10000-13000 to get into this college. All details of admission are available on the MCI and WBMCC websites.
