My college experience

I choose this college because this college is one of the best private institutes to pursue B.Tech in my state. This college focus on more theoretical study than other institutes. The admission process is through JEE MAIN entrance exam. You have to attend the JEE MAIN exam and have to select this college along with the course while JEE MAIN COUNSELLING. And if you have scored well and got enough cutoff marks then you can get admission to this college. I preferred this college because I couldn't get any govt. colleges with desirable courses, and as this is one of the best private institutes for B.Tech, I preferred this college.

I choose this course because I had a keen interest in this course. In this branch EEE, you will get highly educated and friendly faculties, who will help you out during your whole B.Tech period. Most of the faculties have completed their M.Tech in reputed institutes, and some have completed their PHD also, while some are currently pursuing their PhD. This course consisting of 8 semesters, 2 semesters per year. And in each semester you have to appear two exams, Midsem and Endsem. Besides that, there are some marks that will be given by the faculties themselves.

Around 70%-80% of the students from my course got placed. The highest package offered here is around 13 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 3 LPA. But most got placed with 3.5-4.5 LPA. But generally, most of the on-campus recruiting companies are from software companies despite core companies.

You have to pay 1,30,000 per year as tuition fees and 30,000 per year for hostel fees. Besides that, you have to pay for your canteen,which is based upon the food you are consuming, which may cost 4000-5000 per month. Besides that, you have extra fees for any clubs or any other internship you will peruse. Here you can apply for some govt. scholarships and college also provide scholarship to some students.

You will get almost every necessary facility here like a library, lab rooms, canteen, wifi space, cafeteria etc. Besides that, there is a GYM, BB court, TT room, Cricket and Football field. So basically the whole structure is fine but the only problem is the whole infrastructure is situated over a very small area, otherwise, everything is fine. Here several cultural fests DJ nights, competition shows were organized where you all can participate. After you get admission, you can join several clubs like a Theatre club, music and dance club, photography club, several coding clubs etc.

The hostel is good, but to be honest the hostel is very strict. If you are willing to do all the engineering life thing you have watched in any series or somewhere else, you can't get that here. But besides that everything is fine.
