Remarkable days

The college is in my hometown and alumni got selected into Google's program. I got admission through lateral entry as I joined BTech after the diploma course. I got admission to the merit list. So the fees are 44000 and the OEC/SC/ST students have to pay only 5500 rupees. Students who get the highest ranks in KEAM don't need to pay any fees in this college.

The course which I chose is Computer Science and Engineering. There are all the facilities in this college like Computer labs, library, and each course is having separate buildings. College is having a vast area and as it is situated on the hilltop it has a nice ambiance. Teachers here are really friendly and they try every possible way to help students to get good opportunities to study. They provide extra classes for the students who are weak in the subjects. Teachers have MTech and some have Ph.D. qualifications. Exams are conducted after every 2 modules.

College informs us on various internships provided and teachers provide information on Coursera, Udemy like platforms, and the best courses in it. The college conducts several talks and webinars on the topics and also provides foreign internship opportunities. But due to the covid even after getting selected to foreign internships students didn't get the opportunity to do it.

The final-year students are eligible for campus placements. But every year students can apply for foreign internships. Every year companies like Wipro, EY, etc come for recruitment. Some companies don't care about 1 or 2 backlogs but some select only the students with high CGPA. 20 or 25 students get placement from each branch while some others choose for higher studies and government jobs.

For SC/ST/OEC students fees is 5500 per year and for the general category and OBC it's 44000 per year and for INR it's 1 lakh. Students get enough time to give the fees, that is they get a whole year to pay the fees of each year. There are several scholarships available. MOMA scholarship for Muslim students and Egrants for all other students who got admission in merit seat.

There are several tech fests and various other fests conducted every 2 years. There is IEDC club, Coding Club etc. Each classroom has Fan and tube lights and some classrooms have a smart TV. Every building has separate water purifiers and toilets. There are plenty of books available in the college library including 4 types of newspapers and several tech magazines. Online accessible of the library books are also available.
