Good college with great faculty and comfortable fee structure.

This college is under Delhi University and is very reknown in india. The fees structure was very comfortable for me as my parents are retired and no earning was there except pension. The admissions process was a little tough than earlier as the percentage was higher as usual and was committed by Delhi University that only 5 cutoff lists will be released. But then 2 more lists were released and I finally got admission in 7th list. Shyam lal is known as one of the best faculty in all Delhi University colleges. It has a very attractive football ground. It is located in a very good location with good transport facility. As I got a low percentage to get admission in Delhi University I got only one option i.e. Shyam lal college. I have not gone through many blogs but got references from my senior for the selection of college.

The course curriculum and faculty is very good. The overall understand of the student's problem by teachers was very appreciative. They completed under the situation of students and help them with personal attention and granting some more time for submission of any assignment. All the teachers have master qualifications of there respected subjects. This time due to corona pandemic, the exam were conducted through OBE basis( open book exam) which is a relief to students from the burden of studies as well as family matters. They offer 3 hours for writting and one additional hour to submit the answer sheet. So overall a very great environment is offered to students according to there comfortability.

As not so known college of Delhi University, placement cell is little weaker compared to other colleges, but you can get some job opportunity of your score is excellent and performance during your academic period is quite nice. But if somehow any student participate in several competition and society work stuffs, there will be always a bonus in your job profile. In today world, skills and experience matter more than your percentage and score and if any student try hard to gets more developed skills, there will be always a benefit your successful start as a fresher.

For fee structure, no doubts it is the best University with offers high class course at such a low price. I paid 10500/- as my fees for bcom prog. course with a very worthful offer. There is also a placement cell for graduates with offers good job opportunities for freshers and promotions in future.

Due to the corona pandemic, no such fest or functions for performed. But because to online platforms, some enjoyment was initiated for us. But as you all know the meeting people offline is a something next level of enjoyment for us. Making new friends was not easy but through asking queries and doubts, some sort of friendly environment was created. No possibility was there for sports activities but some fun activities was there virtually. I was very excited for the sports competition as I love playing football but again that thing was not possible. There were several unofficial groups created for students for better knowledge of the colleagues, making new friends, and clearing the doubts. There is a official website of the college with students portal from where we can get all our studies information.
