Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

Just there is a training and placement cell department available with the college by the faculty members but mostly small companies like burger King, Colgate and other recruiting agencies. Average interest received by the final year student is 3 lakhs per annum and the highest package was 7 LPA. Highest stipend for internships was 25,000 per month. Sab students also try to get a job by their own and some students prepare for government exam also. Some students go for further studies like Masters and PhD courses.

In shyam lal college,there is special placement and internship cell which provides students with placement and internship through good companies and average package was around 5lpa and Highest is 6.5lpa. Almost 70% of the students got placed. I have decided to do job after completing my course.

Even 1st year students can get a placement if they are able to convert it during the placement fair. The only 1 renowned company which visited and which I knew was zomato back in 2024. It also paid the hightest package ever around 6.5 lpa. Only 5-8% students get placed. Most of the students of this college prepare for govt exam or prepare for their pg exams.

the course curriculum is well structured and cover important topic it help in building a strong foundation but need more practical learning some subject should be updated with latest industry trend exam are fair but can be challenging at times

The relevance of college is 7.5 out of 10 and the collages industry aligned basics and upgraded syllabus and multi disciplinary approach and some major challenges faced by the colleges lack of practical exposure and slow adaption of industry trends and some comprehensiveness are cover core and electric subjects bell and continuous assistant and both theoretical and practical examination and limited code structure

According to me, bachelor of Arts is a waste program, it doesn't prepare you for anything except government exams. It doesn't prepare you for real world applications unless you have other in demand skills. I think there's a lot of need to change the syllabus of bachelor of Arts and teachers should be supportive and qualified. In every 6 months there's semester exams and mostly they're quite difficult.

As I choosed commerce stream in my school time as per my interest then I wanted to continue it and that's why I choosed this course . There can be some improvement in the labs and practical study that can be more improved and more easy to learn .
