Remarks
The admission process included entrance exam like CAT, XAT, CMAT. I was selected for the next round of wat-pi through CAT and CMAT next round was WAT. The topic given was "IS NRC GOOD OR BAD FOR THE COUNTRY" followed by a personal interview where i was asked general questions and situational questions. Pros for selecting Bimtech: Good location Best option under my percentile range Good crowd Experienced faculty Got information about the college from quora, pagalguy, college dunia etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the PGDM Finance course (under PGDM general head) because of my interest in the subject and prior commerce background. The curriculum is equipped with the latest needs of the corporate industry with professional courses along with regular assignments and projects. The faculty taught through ppts and constantly took tests and assignments. The end-term exams were timely conducted in online mode.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offered internships to the students of our college. Some had selection processes like test and pi, while other companies chose students via profile selection. There was both paid and unpaid internships offered at the college. A lot of start-up companies also hired students for internships and many known companies came as well. The company start coming from the month of September and keep coming until may
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for placements in the 5th term. The college has decent placements averaging around 7-8 lacs. Approximately 90% of students get placed. There are decent companies which visit the campus for placements as well. There are workshops in the college to prepare students for selection process for companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no fee hike by the college due to pandemics. However, the fees were still on the higher side, 12 lacs for the tuition and around 4 lacs for the hostel and mess-making around 16 lacs for 2 years. There is a merit-based scholarship for students who secured good percentile in CAT and XAT for the first trimester and highest tgpas for the 3rd trimester
Campus Life
Only lived in the campus for 1.5 months. Life is very good. You can play sports like cricket, basketball, football, table tennis, badminton and volleyball. There's also a cafeteria where one can chill with one's friends. The college is rather strict in terms of discipline and maintaining decorum. There are lots of clubs and conduits in the college and all of them conduct their seperate events. Some clubs and conduits are place com, sports conduit, editorial conduit, cricket club, finance club, football club etc. There's is also a library with wifi service and online portal as well.
Hostel Facilities
There was a single room in a cluster of 4 rooms. The hall of the cluster consists of tv, fridge, chairs along with a common washroom. There is a common microwave and coffee machine on each floor. The rooms are quite good with air conditioners and lan facility for the internet. There is no entery allowed in the hostel after 11 pm. The food is also good and is served with breakfast lunch snacks and dinner (strictly veg).

There was writing ability test. The topic was "is nrc good or bad for the country." We were given 15 minutes to write about the topic. It was followed by personal interview which consisted of 2 panels. They asked basic general questions Questions about religion And situational questions.
