Remarks
I chose this college because of the course. I wanted a creative science plus arts field where you have a variety of subjects to choose from after graduation for Masters. There's no PG around the campus which is a disadvantage. The admission process and dates are same as any other DU colleges on merit basis.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.Sc. (Hons.) Home Science is the course I chose because they have many subjects to choose from after your Under Graduation. This course is recommended for people with a creative bent of mind. The teachers are very helpful and leave no stone unturned while teaching. The exams were timely conducted and they were moderate.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship opportunities provided by the college starting from the first year itself. These internship opportunities are in various fields and students choose them according to their interests. The stipend depends on the company you're interning with.
Placement Experience
There are no placements as such after your Under graduation but the teachers are extremely helpful in helping the students with job opportunities and internship opportunities. You basically get a job after Masters in a particular field.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had availed no scholarship for MU admission. The fees is 31,000 annually which is I wouldn't say is very cheap but it may be affordable to quite a few people. The fees has definitely gone up in the recent years.
Campus Life
The Annual fest is Quintessence which is like one of the best in the entire Delhi University. We have had guests like Ayushman Khurana and Mohit Gaur in our fests . The different societies also have their fests. There are many number of books in our huge Library. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors. There is a sports society in our college and so many other societies to choose from like fine arts ,drama , NSS etc. The students association and the societies are run by students.
Interview Experience
There was no interviews or Group Discussions for admission in this college. I got admission solely on the basis of of merit, i.e. my 12th board examination's marks. The procedure is same for most of the colleges and courses in Delhi University.
